Thank you for this interview, Diana. Do you remember writing stories as a child or did the writing bug come later? Do you remember your first published piece?
I was writing screenplays before stories. The entire writing bug came after being inspired by television and film.
What do you consider as the most frustrating side of becoming a published author and what has been the most rewarding?
Getting the world to know that Charlie and Mama Kyna has been published.
It’s a full-time job that requires a lot of people and resources.
What do you like to do for fun when you’re not writing? Where do you like to vacation? Can you tell us briefly about this?
Make thought provoking films.
If you could be anywhere in the world for one hour right now, where would that place be and why?
I would like to experience the magic of being in Ireland. Visiting castles, the countryside and historic sites are very exciting.
Where’s your favorite place to write at home?
Kitchen. My favorite chair is right there.
Tell us a secret no one else knows.
Stuffed animals are more comforting than eating chocolates.
Have you ever won anything?
My book just won The Best Short Story for Children Award, 39th Annual Marin County Fair, Marin County, California.
What’s on your to do list today?
Treat myself with non-fat pumpkin frozen yogurt.
I understand that you are touring with Pump Up Your Book Promotion in October and November via a virtual book tour. Can you tell us all why you chose a virtual book tour to promote your book online?
Touring with Pump Up Your Book Promotion Company is a great opportunity for my book to reach out to the entire world.
Thank you for this interview, Diana. Good luck on your virtual book tour!
