Pump Up Your Book Blog Host Spotlight: Just One More Paragraph

Theresa Because we value our blog hosts, Pump Up Your Book is now putting the shoe on the other foot and interviewing them instead of having them interview us.  We are now offering our readers a chance to get to know our blog hosts and what better way than a personal interview?

Today, Pump Up Your Book is proud to spotlight Just One More Paragraph, a book blog run by Roaring Branch, Pennsylvania, blogger Theresa Dunlap.

Q: Thank you for this interview, Theresa.  Can you tell us what is your blog’s main focus?

Theresa: When I started, my focus was on reviewing books. The blog a life of its own, though, and evolved into a way to encourage others to start taking notice of all the great books and authors that are out there. Now the blog not only features reviews, but is host to author tours, book tours, author guest posts & spotlights, giveaways, and participates in weekly memes.

Just One More Paragraph Q: How long have you been blogging?  Is this your first blog and your only blog?

Theresa: Although “Just One More Paragraph” is just 5 months old, I had a personal blog for family and friends that was started back in 2003.

Q: How often do you blog?

Theresa: I try to blog daily, but I may miss a post or two on the weekend depending on what is planned and who drops in.

Q: Why did you choose to name your blog, “Just One More Paragraph”?

Theresa: It came from somewhat of a joke between my husband and me. He’d ask if I was coming to bed, and I’d say “Just one more paragraph, and I’ll be back”. Well, we all know that one more would turn into two and…

Q: How do you promote your blog?

Theresa: I usually participate in some of the weekly memes, and the Friday Book Blog Hop and/or Friday Follow. I also use Twitter, comment on other blogs, Good Reads, Library Thing, Book Army, Book Blogs, The Product Review Place, as well as a few other groups on ning.

Q: What do you do when you’re not blogging?

Theresa: I have to tend to the housewife and home school mom obligations first, and then I read. I also love to do counted cross stitch, knit, garden, and cook, and squeeze time in for them as well.

Q: What do you enjoy most about blogging?

Theresa: I have met so many wonderful people through blogging! I’ve developed some great friendships and worked with a lot of great people over the past few months.

Thank you for this interview, Theresa, and we’ll see you in the blogosphere!

  1. Love the interview ladies. It’s so nice to learn about our bloggers.

Theresa, if you don’t mind me asking, how many kids do you have that are school age? Why did you decide to home school them? I thought about it, but just couldn’t commit to it.

Thanks for all the hard work you do hosting our clients. It is greatly appreciated.

    Cheryl
