Review by Bottles & Books Reviews:

Maya and Filippo begins on a cruise ship, Fun Princess, that travels from place to place. This time their travels have led to Auckland.

Since Maya and her brother, Filippo, spend so much time traveling they are able to experience new places and cultures.
Along the way the make new friends and take in the sights and attractions that Auckland has to offer.
With colorful illustrations and teachings of other countries and lessons, such as not complaining, Maya & Filippo Make Friends in Auckland is a great book for children.
I would honestly recommend this book to other parents for their children along with the rest of the series which includes Maya & Filippo Look for Happiness in Tauranga and Maya & Filippo Look for Whales in Ketchikan.
