Q&A
Most Asked Questions & Answers You Might Have About Pump Up Your Book
Q: What exactly is a blog tour?
A blog tour, sometimes called virtual book tour, is an intensive lesson in online marketing that allows others to find out about you and your book through interviews, guest posts, podcasts, or reviews. Instead of the author leaving his/her home to tour with their book, they can do it from the comfort of their home which makes it easier for most and economically-wise, you can’t beat it.
Q: Are you seeing more blog tours today?
Oh my goodness, yes. Blog tours are very popular. I can’t think of too many authors who have released new books who aren’t virtually touring. It’s quite the norm and a very, very important part of their viral book campaign.
Q: How do I pay? I didn’t notice a pay button on your blog.
Before you pay, we like to find out more about your book to see if it would be a good candidate for a virtual book tour. Most books are, but before we get to that step, we need to find out more about your book. When you sign up, we will send you an application which will not only be questions you need to answer about your book, but the information for payment is there as well. We accept personal checks, money orders and Paypal. Paypal is set up to take your credit card and is very secure.
Q: I am setting up my own virtual book tour, but would like to hire you as a supplement to my own efforts. Can we combine both efforts into one?
Sure! I have a few clients who are finding their own “stops,” but they do not count toward the required amount we are hired to find for you.
Q: How long have you been in business?
Pump Up Your Book has been in operation since 2007. We started out with one client and now we average 20+ a month.
Q: I am a new reviewer. Do you have the html code for your publicity banner?
